“COVID-19: The Great Reset” is a guide for anyone who wants to understand how COVID-19 disrupted our social and economic systems, and what changes will be needed to create a more inclusive, resilient and sustainable world going forward. Klaus Schwab, founder and executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum, and Thierry Malleret, founder of the Monthly Barometer, explore what the root causes of these crisis were, and why they lead to a need for a Great Reset.Theirs is a worrying, yet hopeful analysis. COVID-19 has created a great disruptive reset of our global social, economic, and political systems. But the power of human beings lies in being foresighted and having the ingenuity, at least to a certain extent, to take their destiny into their hands and to plan for a better future. This is the purpose of this book: to shake up and to show the deficiencies which were manifest in our global system, even before COVID broke out.”Erudite, thought-provoking and plausible” — Hans van Leeuwen, Australian Financial Review (Australia)”The book looks ahead to what the post-coronavirus world could look like barely four months after the outbreak was first declared a pandemic” — Sam Meredith, CNBC (USA) “The message that the pandemic is not only a crisis of enormous proportions, but that it also provides an opportunity for humanity to reflect on how it can do things differently, is important and merits reflection”– Ricardo Avila, Portafolio (Colombia) “A call for political change in the post-pandemic world”– Ivonne Martinez, La Razon (Mexico)”History has shown, the book argues, that pandemics are a force for radical and lasting change”– Mustafa Alrawi, The National (UAE)

If you’ve ever wondered why Putin is so obsessed with Crimea, why the USA was destined to become a global superpower, or why China’s power base continues to expand ever outwards, the answers are all here.

In ten chapters and ten maps, Prisoners of Geography looks at the past, present and future to offer an essential insight into one of the major factors that determines world history.

  • A Time for Mercy : John Grisham’s Latest No. 1 Bestseller (Hardcover)

Jake Brigance, lawyer hero of A Time to Kill and Sycamore Row, is back, in his toughest case ever.

‘A new Grisham legal thriller is always an event, but this one is exceptional as the author is returning to Jake Brigance, the hero of his very first book, A Time To Kill . . . There is a lot of Grisham in Brigance – they were both street lawyers on the side of the people, not big corporations. It gives the book an emotional core that burns with a white heat’ – Daily Mail

‘A master of plotting and pacing . . . suspenseful’ – New York Times

CAN A KILLER EVER BE ABOVE THE LAW?

Deputy Stuart Kofer is a protected man. Though he’s turned his drunken rages on his girlfriend, Josie, and her children many times before, the police code of silence has always shielded him.

But one night he goes too far, leaving Josie for dead on the floor before passing out. Her son, sixteen-year-old Drew, knows he only has this one chance to save them. He picks up a gun and takes the law into his own hands.

In Clanton, Mississippi, there is no one more hated than a cop killer – but a cop killer’s defence lawyer comes close. Jake Brigance doesn’t want this impossible case but he’s the only one with enough experience to defend the boy.

As the trial begins, it seems there is only one outcome: the gas chamber for Drew. But, as the town of Clanton discovers once again, when Jake Brigance takes on an impossible case, anything is possible …

Starring the same hero and setting that featured in John Grisham’s multi-million-selling bestsellers A Time to Kill (adapted as a film starring Samuel L. Jackson and Matthew McConaughey) and Sycamore Row, A Time for Mercy is an unforgettable thriller you won’t be able to put down.

‘When Grisham gets in the courtroom he lets rip, drawing scenes so real they’re not just alive, they’re pulsating’ Mirror

‘A superb, instinctive storyteller’ The Times

‘Storytelling genius … he is in a league of his own’ Daily Record

  • How to Hack Like a LEGEND: A hacker’s tale breaking into a secretive offshore company Paperback – 11 April 2018 by Sparc Flow (Author)

This is the story of a hacker who met his match while breaking into a company: machine learning, behavioral analysis, artificial intelligence… Most hacking tools simply crash and burn in such a hostile environment. What is a hacker to do when facing such a fully equipped opponent?
Note: the source code of all custom attack payloads are provided and explained thoroughly in the book.

Cybersecurity at its best We start by building a resilient C2 infrastructure using cloud providers, HTTP redirectors and SSH tunnels. The idea is to hide behind an array of disposable machines that we can renew in a matter of seconds to completely change our internet footprint. We then set up step-by-step a phishing platform: fake website, postfix server, DKIM signingSPF and DMARC.
The Art of intrusion Instead of hacking directly our mark(an offshore company), we target one of their suppliers that we identified using OSINT techniques. We collect a couple of passwords thanks to our phishing platform and leverage the remote Citrix access to put our first foot inside. We bypass Applocker and Constrained Language on PowerShell to achieve code execution, then start our Active Directory reconnaissance.
