You are responsible for all sessions and transactions made using these details. You should keep your password safe and not disclose it to anyone. You should change it immediately if you feel it has been compromised.
2. If any of your details change, such as your credit card billing address, you must inform Bitabo HC Ltd as soon as possible. You may update your details by signing into your account on the Website.

The contract between us

1. Any contract for purchases made through the Website will be with Bitabo HC Limited (company registration number 80020003000502 ) Our Taxpayer Identification number is 1022661452 
2. Bitabo HC Ltd must receive payment of the whole of the price for the goods that you order before your order can be processed. Payment of the advertised price will be taken at the point of order. Charging your payment method does not mean that an order has been accepted by Bitabo HC Ltd. Once payment has been processed, Bitabo HC Ltd will confirm that your order has been received by sending an email to you at the email address you provide. The email will include your name, the order number and the total price charged. Bitabo HC Ltd acceptance of your order (which will happen when Bitabo HC Ltd dispatches your order) brings into existence a legally binding contract between us on these terms. Any term sought to be imposed by you in your order will not form part of the contract.
3. Bitabo HC Ltd will not process any orders in the case of errors or inaccuracies regarding the goods (including the advertised price of the goods) appearing on our Website. If an error or inaccuracy is discovered with regards to the advertised price of the goods that you have ordered, we will contact you as soon as possible by email and reserve the right to cancel your order.

You must not use this Website: (i) in a way that causes, or is likely to cause, the Website or any Bitabo HC Ltd service to be interrupted, damaged or impaired in any way, or (ii) for fraudulent purposes, or in connection with a criminal offence or other unlawful activity. We reserve the right to cancel any order, terminate any Bitabo HC Ltd  account or refuse any Bitabo HC Ltd service if your behaviour gives us a justified reason to do so. This will in particular be the case if you are in breach of applicable laws, applicable contractual provisions, our guidelines or our policies, which are all accessible on this Website, or if you engage in fraudulent activities or behaviour.
2. We do not sell products for purchase by children. We sell children’s products for purchase by adults. If you are under 18 you may use Bitabo HC Ltd only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

Return Policy

Books that are eligible for return will only be accepted if unused, not torn, or damaged, and in their original condition.

Bitabo HC Ltd shall reserve the right to return a product to the customer if the product returned does not meet any of its guidelines or conditions.

 
The customer shall not be entitled to any refund if the product is not eligible for return. In the case a product is declined for a return request at any stage, we will make two (2) attempts to deliver the product back to the customer. In case both attempts of delivery are unsuccessful

The customer can raise a request for another attempt within three (3) business days post the last notified attempt. If we receive the request from the customer for another attempt within three (3) business days post the last notified attempt, we can arrange the last attempt for delivery within two (2) business days otherwise the item will be sent for liquidation and the customer won’t be able to request for the delivery of the product again.

Book Rentals {Available to readers residing in Kampala city, Uganda}

1. The security deposit is refundable after every 6 months should the reader choose to cancel the contract. However should the reader choose to retain the book or the book gets damaged or lost, the reader is required to purchase the book as per its original price deducted from his or her security deposit.

2. The books borrowed should not be more than the security deposited. And each book is rented for a maximum of 30 days. A penalty of 1,000/= on each book per day should the reader exceed the 30 days. 

3. Each book is rented at 10,000 with free delivery & pick up. 

4. Mode of payment is mobile money transfer. 

5. A reader can borrow more than one book as long as it’s price does not exceed the security deposit or the selected option. 

Shipping Policy 

The delivery of books to readers {customers} will be free and delivery takes 2-14 days depending on your location. Should the delivery exceed 30 days before dispatch of the books to the reader, the reader has a right to request cancellation of the order through our contacts either by telephone/WhatsApp or email, Email: info@bitabo.online, Mobile: +256750367394, Whatsapp: +971558198935. And they will be entitled to a full refund of their monies or continue waiting for the delivery of the books as per our adjusted dates.

As a seller on Bitabo you describe, store, Price and ship your items yourself. Please note: 1. Your delivery to the target market has to be free. 2. You post the latest image of the item to be sold and mention whether it’s new or used item. Sell of wrong items different from what was posted on the site is prohibited. The vendor won’t be paid should the buyer raise a complaint and it’s proved right as per our terms and conditions. 3. Subscription means acceptance of all the terms and conditions of all items mentioned on Bitabo website

How much does it cost to sell on Bitabo and how does Bitabo pay me?
An annual subscription fee of 60,000/- per vendor to list items and sell with Bitabo. A 8% commission fee is applied to all sales, including shipping  and any extra charges. And you are paid monthly via bank transfer or Mobile money as per the information you will provide in the application.
